Sara Nelson
Spring Paralegal Intern
I am attending East Los Angeles College and expect to graduate in June of 2025 with an AA in Paralegal Studies, with certificates for Legal assistance, Import/Export, International Law, and Policy Certificate; I am also a notary. I am interning with CLI because I believe in this mission to help the community. These people cannot help themselves without the assistance of individuals who can give of themselves, like Community Lawyers, Inc. As a third-generation immigrant from Nicaragua, I understand the importance of knowing your rights and advocating for yourself and for those who cannot for themselves.; my career goals are to continue to assist in the legal field in the areas of Immigration, Family Law, Education Rights, and Renters Rights. I am a licensed Esthetician who enjoys giving treatments that can help individuals feel better about themselves. My hobby is to do treatments that pertain to my aesthetics license, like facials, waxing, eyebrow tinting, etc. For fun, I enjoy spending time with and cuddling my baby girl, little Sara. Little Sara is my world, and it is because of her that I went back to school to finish my AA degree in Paralegal Studies; I want to and will give her a better future, which is why I am going after my education goal.
