Maria Manaa
Fall Undergraduate Intern
Hi, I’m Maria Manaa! I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Southern California majoring in Political Science with a focus on law and public diplomacy. My work with nonprofits expanding computer science education in under-resourced Los Angeles schools has shown me how inequities in education often overlap with the experiences of immigrant communities. These experiences have inspired my passion for pursuing a career in immigration law, where I hope to continue working at the intersection of education, equity, and advocacy. I am excited to work with Community Lawyers, Inc. because of its dedication to underserved communities and its mission to make legal services accessible to those who need them most.
Fun fact: When I’m not working or studying, you can usually find me at the beach surfing or playing beach volleyball!
