My name is Perla Lopez, I am currently going to Cerritos College to complete my paralegal certificate by the end of Spring 2025. I work at St. John’s Community Health as BAILA Network Coordinator. I’m a DACA recipient, I was born in Mexico and was brought to the United States when I was 1 year old. I was raised in South Central Los Angeles all my life and have not been back to Mexico since I entered this country. I am very passionate about advocating and helping my community, in particular the undocumented community, as I know what it is to be undocumented and the struggles that come with being undocumented.
