Free Legal Clinic for Students:
Facing discipline or retaliation for participating in anti‑ICE walkouts or demonstrations?
CLI is hosting a free Students’ Rights Clinic with attorneys from Hirji, Chau & Rodriguez, LLP to provide legal advice and limited‑scope representation. The clinic will cover students’ free speech rights on and off campus; what discipline schools can and cannot impose; due process and appeal procedures; and how to challenge suspensions, truancy notices, expulsions, inaccurate disciplinary records, and retaliation.
We will counsel you on your rights, review the discipline, prepare letters and appeals, and identify practical next steps and referrals. Students and parents welcome — please bring any notices, emails, or other evidence related to the incident.
