Katrina Cainglet

Law Clerk

Katrina Ana Cainglet, a Los Angeles native, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, Ethics, Politics, and Law with a minor in Sociology from California State University, Sacramento. She is currently a Juris Doctorate candidate at the University of La Verne College of Law.     

Katrina finds her time with Community Lawyers, Inc. to be a deeply valuable and impactful experience. Katrina has gained substantial hands-on experience in Immigration Law, and she continues to expand her knowledge in order to provide crucial support to the community, especially during these unprecedented times.         

Her commitment to public service and advocacy for marginalized groups is demonstrated by her experience at the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center, where she provided direct support and compassionate leadership to disadvantaged community members. Katrina also brings experience from the Personal Injury field as a legal assistant and case manager. As the former Vice President of the Asian Pacific American Law Student Association, Katrina organized and led a wildfire relief drive that provided direct resources to families impacted by the Eaton Canyon wildfires. Her student membership in the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles has been instrumental in helping her network with peers and expand her professional knowledge.

As an aspiring attorney and motivated by a desire to create a significant impact in the lives of others, Katrina intends to continue applying her advocacy skills within the legal profession. In her free time, Katrina enjoys spending quality time with family and friends, as well as traveling.
